Try bowls for Free at our club this weekend!

Bowls’ Big Weekend will run from Friday 24th to Monday 27th May 2024, when clubs across the country will open their doors to enable new participants to discover everything that is great about our sociable, accessible sport.

Our club welcomes people of all ages from primary school age to centenarian, from all ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and players of all bowling abilities. It's a great sport for all the family and a good  place to meet people and make new friends.

Lawn Bowls can be played by people who have a physical or visual disability, also by those with learning difficulties - in fact by almost anybody!

New to the sport?
If you’ve never played bowls before, this is the perfect way to start as clubs will supply all the equipment you need, you just need to arrive with flat footwear and comfortable clothing. There’s no charge, no need to sign up for anything long term, just turn up and play!

Returning to bowls?
If you’re coming back to the sport, this is also the perfect way to ease yourself back in at a club near to you with welcoming faces and like-minded players.

You can just turn up at our club from 10:30 on either Friday 24th May or Monday 27th May but registering online here will help us to ensure that we have enough people on hand to show you the basics. If you would like a try the sport but can't make either of our sessions then give us a call on the numbers below and we will find another suitable time.

If you are visiting our site but live too far away to join us at our club then you can also find a club near to you by clicking here where you will find when over the weekend they are offering these sessions.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.
